Stage 4 Release

The Village at Meridian Announces Complete Reopening

Visitors can once again visit their favorite stores and restaurants

Meridian, Idaho (June 15, 2020) – As Idaho continues into stage four of the Idaho Rebounds plan, stores and restaurants at The Village at Meridian resume business and some summer events move forward.  The Village at Meridian is nearly 100 percent open and excited to welcome back the buzz of visitors to the property.

“This has certainly been an unusual year for everyone, so any sense of normalcy we can return to is comforting,” says Hugh Crawford, General Manager of The Village at Meridian. “We are moving forward to safely provide the exciting shopping, dining and entertainment experience The Village at Meridian prides itself on.”

Stores and restaurants have begun welcoming diners and shoppers once again and the play area is now available for children with increased sanitizing stations and hourly cleaning. The Village Cinema plans to open its doors again in late summer.

Summer events and activities taking place at The Village are downsizing. Some signature events like Rock the Village and Witches Night Out will not be held in 2020 due to the thousands of guests that traditionally attend. The Village at Meridian has opted for smaller, more intimate events including live performances on the patio at Big Al’s three nights a week and in Fountain Square on Friday nights through July and August. Other events include fine art displays, car shows, story times, yoga on the green at Fountain Square and more.
