New Retail Stores, Restaurant Will be the First in Idaho Slated to Join The Village at Meridian
Soft Surroundings, Madewell and Texas de Brazil restaurant will open fall 2018
Meridian, Idaho – Three new retail stores and one new restaurant are joining The Village at Meridian this year. Soft Surroundings, Madewell, Columbia Sportswear and Texas de Brazil are planned to open at The Village at Meridian in fall of 2018. The four new additions will bring the shopping center to 95 percent retail occupancy and 90 percent office space occupancy.
Soft Surroundings is a women’s clothing and accessories, beauty and home decor store. The store is set to open in the space next to LOFT and Brighton.
Madewell is a women’s clothing store that focuses on creating great jeans for their customers. Denim is at the brand’s core, but also carries tees, totes, leather jackets and more. The store will be located next to LUSH and PINK.
Columbia Sportswear is one of the world’s largest outerwear brands with product available in multiple locations across the Treasure Valley but this is their first dedicated store, which will be moving into the building with Century Link and Café Zupas in Village North.
Texas de Brazil is a restaurant that offers traditional Brazilian churrasco cooking with the generous spirit and hospitality that Texas is known for. The restaurant will be located in the West end of the center across from The Counter Burger and Z Gallerie.
Also planned for The Village this fall, the former Toys r Us space will be a temporary Spirit of Halloween store opening in October, and Konica Minolta will move its Idaho office to The Village at Meridian.
New this summer, Panache Hair Studio & Day Spa opened its doors the end of June and Jeff Callihan Gallery will open by July 31.
With The Village at Meridian nearing complete occupancy, the remaining vacant retail space is being built out for local businesses and artisans to rent as interim retail space for the holiday season.
