Matador Restaurant & Tequila Bar to Open

Matador Restaurant & Tequila Bar to Open Location in                        The Village at Meridian

Casa Del Matador is the first of many planned for lifestyle centers         throughout the Western region

MERIDIAN, Idaho—May 21, 2015—The Matador Restaurant & Tequila Bar has announced that it will be opening a location at The Village at Meridian in August 2015. Casa Del Matador Agave Kitchen is a family-friendly sister concept to The Matador, and will open near Village Cinema, right next to LaCrème Frozen Yogurt and facing Fairview Avenue. The new restaurant will employ approximately 50 team members, and will be the restaurant’s ninth location in the Northwest.

“There is remarkable support from the Boise community for our Downtown location,” said Zak Melang, co-founder of the Matador. “Countless guests have asked us to offer a second location closer to where so many Treasure Valley residents call home.”

Casa Del Matador will feature scratch-made Mexican cuisine, handcrafted tequila-centric cocktails and excellent guest service. For the little ones, they are offering a new menu that tailors classic Mexican cuisine to highlight the flavors kids love.

“Matador is a quality addition to The Village at Meridian expanding our current offerings to include authentic Mexican cuisine,” says Hugh Crawford, General Manager of The Village at Meridian. “Our customers have been asking for additional culinary options, and Matador has responded—we can’t wait to have them open their doors here.”
