Holiday 2021
The Village at Meridian Kicks off Holiday Season
Santa visits, scavenger hunts and ice skating for everyone
Meridian, Idaho (November 17, 2021) – Let the holidays begin! The Village at Meridian is kicking off the holiday season with the annual tree lighting and Santa arrival event on November 18th at 6pm. But that is just the beginning. Over the next two months, families can enjoy visits with Santa and countless activities throughout The Village.
Visit Santa in his cozy house this holiday season! Santa will be arriving to kick off the holiday season with the annual tree lighting at 6pm on Thursday, November 18. Santa will be opening his house the following morning on Friday, November 19 to welcome children and their families to share their holiday wishes with Santa. Reservations are required this year, so visit this website before bringing the kids (or dogs) over!
Next to Santa’s house in Fountain Square, children will find a magical mailbox to place their letters and wish lists to Santa. Parents can find the letter stationery online or by visiting the concierge desk. Be sure to drop letters into Santa’s mailbox and include a return address to get a reply from Santa sent to your home! Parents are encouraged to include special fun facts in the letters to surprise the children with personalized responses from Santa this holiday season.
Santa will also be bringing in some very special helpers to read stories this Christmas season. Storytime with Santa’s Helpers will be in the Village Cinema Lobby on Mondays at 11:30AM and 12PM. Come and enjoy your favorite Christmas tales as a family.
Snowman Scavenger Hunt
Load up the kids and spend an afternoon at The Village at Meridian with the Snowman Scavenger Hunt! 15 adorably unique snowmen are hiding in multiple places throughout The Village. All 15 snowmen will be hiding carefully from November through December. Pick up your scavenger hunt checklist from the concierge desk and then bring it back when completed for a complimentary gift (while supplies last). Click here to learn more.
